We're looking for someone with a passion for fashion and homewares, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. You'll need to be organised, quick to learn, and confident juggling multiple tasks while keeping accuracy front of mind. A positive attitude and strong work ethic are a big plus in our close-knit team.
We're also after someone who's reliable, proactive, and confident leading by example – especially on Fridays and Saturdays when our Operations Manager may be offsite. If you enjoy taking on responsibility and supporting those around you, we'd love to hear from you!
AVAILABILITY REQUIREMENTS –
- must be looking for work long-term (can commit to 1 year at minimum)
- must be able and happy to work the occasional full weekend (rare occasion)
- must be able and happy to work through Christmas / New Years
- must be able and happy to work public holidays
REQUIRED ATTRIBUTES –
- thrive in a retail environment
- strong written and verbal communication skills
- sharp eye and passion for organisation and presentation
- proactive team player (personable, helpful, reliable)
- solution-oriented and professional under pressure
- critical thinker, fast working and self-motivated
REQUIRED SKILLS –
- must have 2 years retail (homewares/fashion) or online store dispatch customer service and sales experience
- confident with Apple OS, web-based applications and Microsoft Office
PREFERRED SKILLS –
- experience with Lightspeed POS system, Shopify and Go Sweet Spot
RESPONSIBILITIES –
In-Store Retail (support)
- primary focus on customer engagement and sales (build lasting relationships, offering gifting, home decor, and wardrobe solutions)
- process transactions via Lightspeed POS
- maintain a high standard of shop presentation through regular cleaning and upkeep
- assist with visual merchandising
- maintain thorough product knowledge
- gift wrapping
- train new retail associates
Inventory Management
- restock sold goods in store
- process incoming goods
- maintain a well-organised stockroom
- cleaning duties
Online Store Support
- online order dispatch
- customer service via phone & email
- process returns & exchanges
