Retail Associate | 5 days
Start Date: Late October – Early November
Term: 5 days per week / Permanent | can commit to 1 year at minimum
Schedule: Sunday – Thursday each week as a base schedule | scheduling flexibility is required
- must have flexibility to assist with staff cover (weekends primarily)
- must be able and happy to work the occasional full weekend
- must be able and happy to work public holidays

This role includes a mix of store front retail sales, customer service, inventory management, and stock processing. Attention to detail, and being able to multitask effectively is essential. It is high-paced and physically demanding, so the ideal candidate will be energetic, highly organised, precision-oriented, a fast learner, and overall have a strong work ethic.

Required skills –
- must have 2 years retail (homewares/fashion) customer service and sales experience
- confident with Apple OS, web-based applications and Microsoft Office
Responsibilities –
In-Store Retail (primary)
- customer engagement and sales
- building and maintaining strong ongoing customer relationships
- process transactions via Vend point of sale system
- visual merchandising
- maintain shop presentation to a high standard
- build and maintain thorough product knowledge
- day-to-day shop merchandising
- gift wrapping
- cleaning duties
Inventory Management
- restock sold goods in store
- process incoming goods
- maintain a well-organised stockroom

Online Store Support
