Position: Retail Floor Manager
Term: 5 days per week / permanent
Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday each week as a base schedule. Note: some scheduling flexibility is required to assist with staff cover so you must be able and happy to work public holidays and the occasional full weekend.

This role is based on our shop floor, so best suits an individual with extensive retail experience who is genuinely passionate about creating a memorable service experience for customers and most importantly, wants to be an inspiring team player who will consistently lead by example.

Responsibilities include
- In-Store Retail
- provide exceptional customer service
- build and maintain strong ongoing customer relationships
- maintain shop presentation to a high standard
- maintain thorough product knowledge
- be observant, regularly checking all in-stock goods are displayed on floor
- process transactions via Vend POS system
- gift wrapping
- light cleaning duties
- Inventory Management
- restock sold goods in store
- run daily sales reports
- input incoming goods into Vend POS system
- Floor Management
- coach and mentor Retail Associates in all areas of floor operations: customer service, sales, product knowledge, upkeep of store presentation and more
- train and supervise new and current Retail Associates
- closely monitor and report store sales performance: buying trends, customer needs, identify team members strengths and developmental areas
- customer service via phone
- visual merchandising
This role reports to and is closely supported by our Operations Manager.
Required skills
- must have 2 years retail customer service and sales experience in homewares/fashion
- must have previous experience leading a team
- experience using Vend POS system
- confident with Apple OS, web-based applications and Microsoft Office
