The Skerton Plus Coffee Mill by Hario is a favourite amongst coffee newcomers and professionals alike. This grinder has the ability to make a full range of grind sizes and can hold up to 100g of coffee.
The Skerton Plus is equipped with a burr stabilizing plate that helps keep the centre shaft in place for a more uniform and consistent grind. The conical ceramic burrs used are considered the best configuration for hand grinding coffee as they hold less static charge, stay cooler during grinding, shave coffee beans versus cracking them like blade grinders, cannot rust and clean more thoroughly than steel burrs.
The rubber base keeps the unit steady while in use, and the silicone lid keeps the beans in the chamber whilst grinding, resulting in no mess.
