Merino is a traditional breed of sheep originating in Spain. The wool from merino sheep produces the thinnest wool that can be found and is known for its exceptional softness and ability to keep you warm without feeling heavy. The recycled wool Klippan uses is wool from their own leftover production of other blankets. The colours available at the time of production determine the outcome, so there may be variations from blanket to blanket. The process is sustainable and helps to reduce waste and give new life to their materials.
