Lemongrass (Cymbopogon) has a cooling energy and has been found to improve digestion by lessening stomach cramps and spasms and reducing bloating and flatulence. Lemongrass may also improve circulation to increase energy. Lemongrass is high in antioxidants. Antioxidants scavenge free radicals from the body’s cells and prevent or reduce the damage caused by oxidation.

Papaya fruit is an excellent source of folate and vitamins C, A and E. It also contains calcium, iron, riboflavin, thiamin and niacin. Papaya is very rich in the antioxidant nutrients flavonoids and carotenes. All nutrients have been found to aid in energy production.

Ginger (Zingiber officinale) is a stimulating tonic for the digestive system. It has been found to reduce cramping, gas and nausea.
