This Spoon Rest is a part of our Paper Plane x Slab Ceramics Dune collection series. Designed as an exclusive collab exploring popular kitchen accessories using clay hand-building techniques and wheel-work. Crafted in cream-speckled clay with a slight matte glaze.
While each piece is a functional kitchen tool, its organic form adds a lovely decorative touch to the space when left on display. These ceramics are built by hand, making each piece completely unique.
Size: 16cm x 8cm x 4cmh. Please note that because these are handmade, sizes will vary and each has its own unique differences.
Care: Dishwasher safe, but for longevity, hand wash is recommended.
Slab are hand-built or wheel-thrown ceramics made in the local town of Pāpāmoa Beach, NZ. Each piece is lovingly made with care by Suzy, who draws inspiration from her surrounding environment. Suzy has a holistic approach to ceramics, so many pieces are irregular shapes and sizes and textured using local Pāpāmoa Beach sand, and some with volcanic Taupō grit.
